Apple iPad
From the Home screen, tap "Settings".

On the "Setting" screen, tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

Tap "Add Account...".

Tap "Other".

Tap" Add Account..." .

Enter your name in the "Name" field.

Enter your email address in the "Address" field.

Enter your email password in the "Password" field.

Enter your email address or description name in the "Description" field.

Tap "Save".

Tap the "POP" button at the top of screen.

Under Incoming Mail Server:

Enter pop.yourdomain.com in the "Host Name " field.

Enter your email address in the "User Name" field.

Enter your email password in the "Password" field.

Under Outgoing Mail Server:

Enter smtp.yourdomain.com in the "Host Name " field.

Enter your email address in the "User Name" field.

Enter your email password in the "Password" field.

Click "Save"

You may get an error message when the mail program tries to connect to the server; ignore the error message and tap "Continue". The mail program may try again to connect and give another error message; ignore the error message and tap "Save".

 

Go back to Settings.

Tap "Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

Tap the "email account" you want to change.


Tap your "SMTP" server "smtp.yourdomainname.com" you want to modify.

Have "Server" turned "ON".

Have "SSL" turned "OFF".

Make sure "Authentication: is set to "Password"

Set the "Server Port" to 26.

Tap "Done".

You may get an error message when the mail program tries to connect to the server; ignore the error message and tap "Continue". The mail program may try again to connect and give another error message; ignore the error message and tap "Save".

Go back to Settings.

Tap" Mail, Contacts, Calendars".

Tap the "email account" you want to change.

Tap "Advance" to check your "POP" setting.

Make sure "SSL" is "OFF".

Make sure "Authentication: is set to "Password"

Make sure" Server Port" is set to "110".

If you are checking your email from another computer then you may want to adjust how long email stays on the server using the iPad.

Tap "Done".
